Tips |
| 1. | Fill reservoir with fresh water adjusting ph to 5.00. Place 4" cubes in reservoir and let soak for 24 hours. |
| 2. | Place cuttings into pre soaked 4" cubes and load into trays. |
| 3. | Adjust lamps between 18 to 24 hours. (Your preference).Let plants spin for 3 to 4 days making sure they do not dry out. |
| 4. | Fill reservoir 2 way with fresh water and adjust ph between 5.6 - 5.8. Add nutrients to a reading of 500 ppm. |
| 5. | On the 4th day or if plants are drying out, flood top reservoir until the bottom (about 1") of the cube is covered. Adjust the overflow to that depth. |
| 6. | Leave the pump on until all trays have passed through. |
| 7. | After a couple of days, check cubes for roots protruding through the bottom. |
| 8. | Check ph in reservoir (between 5.6 - 5.8) and adjust overflow so the entire cube is flooded. |
| 9. | Flood every 2nd to 3rd day for approximately 1 week. (average veg time is 10 days). Switch timer to 12 hours. |
| 10. | Adjust nutrients to 1000-1200 ppm and flood daily as lamps turn on. As plants increase in size, adjust nutrients to compensate. It is recommended to change reservoir water weekly. |
| 11. | You should oxygenate the water with an air stone and pump. You can add a circulating pump to continuously mix and agitate the nutrient water mixture. |
| 12. | Place a fan in the direction of opening and blow across plants to help C02 movement. |
| 13. | For optimum light, keep glass tube clean by spraying a glass cleaner onto a towel and wiping tube. This is best done when lamps are just turning on or off. |
